Message from the CEO, KIIT

“As the soil, however rich it may be cannot be productive without cultivation, so the mind without culture can never produce good fruit.”

India’s cultural heritage has its base in Indian values like non violence, respect for elders, for the tools of their trade, family bondage etc. With the increasing influence of the west, it has become very hard for parents to try and keep these values intact, since the younger generation is always in a conflict between the values that they have and the values that are. The age old adage “cleanliness is next to godliness” still holds good. Honesty and integrity, old fashioned as they may sound, come high on the priority list. These values are going to hold them in good stead in the days to come. In an age where corruption is rampant, honesty becomes of paramount importance. Children must be taught to believe in themselves.

There is a new paradigm of existence which is holistic- a radical departure from the fragmentary culture. While everyone is trumpeting the slogan of India shining, we at KIIT choose to look at India eternal, the sublime face of India with its message to aspire for higher values and not remain content with materialism. We value self knowledge and self transformation. In our transformation lies the transformation of the world. I hope this souvenir will apprise you of our latest achievements, values, beliefs, ethos and untiring efforts to attain goals. Gandhiji very rightly said:

“I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my houses as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any."
