IBM DB2 TRAINING FOR B.Tech-CSE/IT-VII

Dear Students,

We are happy to announce the commencement of IBM DB2 training from September 18-20,2012for the students of B.Tech-CSE/IT. List of students undergoing training isattached at annexure-1(Displayed on Notice Board). All the students undergoingare required to adhere to following guidelines:

1. The duration of the training is 3 days from September 18 to 20, 2012staring at 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.

No students will be allowed to go out of the lab throughout thesession except for lunch break.

2. After completion of training, there will be MOCK test for assessmentof your learning.

3. DB2 certification exam date shall be announced after results of MOCKtest.

4. Those of you having their own laptops are encouraged to have thesoftware installed on your sys for facilitating practice at home.

5. The prerequisite for participating in training is registration inTGMC Project ( link available on IBM site). It is pertinent to note that our 4groups of B. Tech Batch 2012 successfully completed the project and wereinvited to present in a function. List of projects is given on the TGMC pagefor your identification. You may form a group of 3-4 and identify your mentorfrom the faculty.

With the commencement of new academic session, we haveorganised a Presentation on NGN (Next Generation Networks) by ZTE for our final and pre-finalyear students of BCA, MCA, B.Tech –CSE/IT/ECE/EEE. ZTE is one of the largestTelecom manufacturers, engaged in project implementation of Reliance, Tata TeleServices and BSNL and employing a large number of engineers from ECE/EEE/CSE/IT /MCA/BCA fields.
