Placements KIIT conducts professional courses in Information Technology, Management, Engineering, and Education. Students undergo these courses and aspire to be industry professionals. Apart from providing training and learning environment, KIIT also provides additional help to arrange for the placement of the students in industry or their respective fields of work. Placement department maintains the skill set and expertise of students and accordingly maps it to the industry requirement. Students, thus, get appropriate positions/jobs in industry. KIIT has registered itself with certain external agencies which coordinate placements within the different organizations by conducting campus recruitments for KIITians. The institute assists the students in getting placements by organizing campus recruitments for the relevant students/candidates. However, there may be students who wish to seek jobs on their own, as per their own area of specialization (which may be a niche area) or the preferred place of work (which may be constrained by the job location) – the institute assists/encourages such students to participate in such off-campus drives or walk-in interviews.
Training by External Agencies : KIIT provides a very flexible learning environment and encourages students to enhance their skills & expertise to whatever extent possible. Besides providing Summer Training & Industrial Training, KIIT also permits students to further build/groom themselves by undertaking trainings from external agencies on students' or KIIT's initiatives. This option is very essential for students as they may like to build their knowledge in certain specific technology areas gaining hands-on exposure beyond the course curriculum. Such trainings are generally conducted on need-basis looking at the industry trend or may also be conducted as per student's aspirations/interests.
