PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES

Scientific and Technical professional societies play a very significant role in the advancement of the carriers of researches, faculty members and students. These are the best means to get informal education and additional technical knowledge in the areas which are not taught in the classrooms, keep track of new innovations and pass the information through various channels like conferences, seminars, special lectures, participation in competitions etc. It is with this objective, the institute has associated itself with most important professional societies of our country i.e. IETE and CSI.

Foreign Collaborations

Visit of French Delegation

A five member delegation from different French Universities visited KIIT on 17th feb’07 to explore the possibility of joint ventures to provide a ready platform to young KIIT ians. Members from University of Grenoble, France, were invited to promote and develop the programmes followed by the institute. Delegation consisted of Patrick Chezaud, Marta Dvorak, Michel Giraud, Cattherine Miannay, Tania Castro The French delegation gave detailed information about ISEP, its two major programmes, Engineering and M.Sc., and a special research focus in Micro electronics. Patrick Chezaud, chancellor of the three French Universities appreciated the working of KIIT and promised collaboration of mutual interest with it.

Broke University , Canada

Prof. Kim Meade and Prof. Barbra Sainty of the Brock University of Canada had a detailed meeting on 21st Feb.2009 with the Executive Director, Principal, College of IT & Management , Dean (Academics) of KIIT regarding possibilities of collaboration between the two institutions.
